License. Jennifer has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2011.
Education. Jennifer received her B.S at St. Cloud State University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. She went on to attain an M.S in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009, at the same university. Jennifer is a Minnesota board approved supervisor for Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Candidates.
Work History. She began her career as an in-home mental health practitioner. She provided counseling to children, ages 4-17, and their families. She worked on goals relating to ADHD, oppositional behavior, depression, anxiety, bipolar, conduct disorder, parenting skills, social skills, and life skills. Next, Jennifer worked as an outpatient jail therapist, where she provided therapy to inmates in a county jail. Clients had struggles with anger, chemical use, depression, trauma, ADHD, personality disorders, bipolar, obsessive compulsive disorder, and criminal thinking/behavior. More recently, she has worked at an outpatient clinic, providing group, individual, couples, and family therapy. She counseled people with many diagnoses, but specialized in sex offender treatment, sexual issues, sexual addictions, trauma, problems with pornography, and sexually deviant behavior. She is currently in private practice, Jennifer Vaughn Therapy Services, LLC, a part of Compass Counseling Partners.

Jennifer is a busy parent two children. She enjoys running, scrapbooking, and reading.
Carlyn Becker serves as Jennifer Vaughn Therapy Services’ Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure candidate. She is currently working out of a location in Pillager MN, Anchor Counseling and Wellness (218-746-3995). She has achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology through the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. She is completed her Master’s degree in Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) at the University of Minnesota. Her goal is to help clients address the social, psychological, and biological factors of addiction and mental health.
Work History: Carlyn started working as an LADC at an outpatient dual diagnosis treatment program. She facilitated high intensity outpatient treatment groups to individuals 18 years and older. She also worked in a medication assisted treatment program for those recovering from opiate dependence. She collaborated with a medical staff to provide clients with more education and resources for their recovery. She is able to complete chemical health assessments and Rule 25 Assessments. Carlyn completed her master’s degree in dual-diagnosis treatment of substance use and mental health disorders. She is currently providing individual, family, and couples counseling, in addition to drug and alcohol counseling at a location in Pillager, MN.
Carlyn enjoys fishing, running, and being outdoors.
